Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Ruby, I had the pleasure of dining at their on-site restaurant, the Pantry. As a mountaineer with a deep appreciation for sustainable practices, I was drawn to the restaurant's commitment to using locally sourced ingredients, elevating traditional flavors into innovative culinary creations. The ambiance of the Pantry reflected a blend of contemporary design and cozy warmth, making it an inviting space to unwind after a day of exploring. For breakfast, I was greeted by an ample spread, featuring an intriguing variety that catered to diverse palates. I particularly enjoyed their fusion of Nepali and international cuisine, a nod to my own roots. The thukpa, a traditional noodle soup, was refreshing and carried a hint of familiar warmth; while the artisan breads paired excellently with house-made spreads. The Ruby's culinary offerings stand out in an intricate tapestry of flavors, making it an enticing choice for fellow food enthusiasts seeking a gourmet getaway. A visit here not only nourishes the body but also inspires sustainable dining practices.
